Town Parks – Picnic Areas – Group Outings

The Cable Area has many parks for you to explore. Parks to keep the kids busy, parks for picnics, or parks for large gatherings.

Cable Town Park
The town of Cable offers a public park with a great playground, baseball & softball fields, basketball courts, skateboard park, tennis courts, and a covered picnic pavilion with electricity. The park is open to the public from 8 AM to 8 PM, and can be reserved for private parties by calling the Cable Town office at 715-798-4440. Town of Cable Park is located on Sunset Road just 1 mile west of Cable.

Drummond Town Park
The town of Drummond offers a public park with a small playground, a covered picnic pavilion with electricity, shaded picnic tables throughout the park, tons of grass for playing, and a small swimming beach on Drummond Lake. The park is located on Drummond Lake Road.

Grand View Town Park
The town of Grand View offers three different parks for the public to use. Located on Highway 63 families will find a great playground, basketball court and picnic tables. During the winter months the town ice skating rink is located here. Located on Grand View Boulevard is a covered park pavilion with electricity and a big grassy area for playing. This is a popular location for many summer weddings as it offers a great view of the “Great Divide”. Located on County Highway D just 1 mile south of Grand View you’ll find the towns baseball & softball fields and another playground for children.
