How Does it Work?

Pick a row on your BINGO card.  The BINGO squares are divided in to 4 categories, complete a challenge item from each category in the row on your card to complete the BINGO!

Maybe you need 2 challenge items from Activities & 2 challenge items from Food …

You could buy a pumpkin from Big Brook Greenhouse for Halloween Pumpkin Carving fun (#47) and then stop by Legion Post 487 and buy some pull-tabs (#44).  Get your card stamped and you are halfway there!  Pick two items from the Food/Drink category and you’ve completed a BINGO!  Grab breakfast at Cable Cafe (#3) and a Latte from Velo (#1) and your BINGO is complete!  Now you have two choices…. bring your card in and get entered to win $100 Chamber Dollars or keep playing…  get a Blackout on the card (all the squares stamped) and get entered to win $250.  The Pumpkin is a Free Space.  Bonus – if you post any of your challenge items to social media and tag us you are immediately entered to win $50!  Just make sure the post is public or we won’t be able to see it.

FAQs

Q: What if I pick a place that doesn’t have a stamp?

A: No worries, just write in the place on the square!  We trust you, cheaters aren’t having fun and we are here to have fun!

Q: Do I have to do exactly what it says in the challenge item?

A: No, we are just having fun.  The challenge items are a suggestion, if you don’t like pumpkin then just get a coffee at the Brick House – don’t like coffee at all then get a Breakfast Burrito.  As long as you get out there and have fun it counts! Don’t worry about the details.

Q: I missed the Events in the challenge items, how do I complete those squares?

A: Check out our Events Calendar and pick something else.  There are lots of events in Cable and any of them count, we just picked a few we thought you might enjoy!

Q: Do I have to buy something to get a stamp?

A: No, we are just having fun.  Visit the places, buy something if you want.

Q: Why do I have to make my post public?

A: Because of the way Facebook & Instagram work if you don’t make it public we won’t be able to see it.  Even when you tag a business they don’t get to see it if you set it to Friends Only.  It’s just the way it works.  If you need help, stop by the Chamber we’d be happy to show you how to change the settings.

Q: But if I make it Public does that mean everyone can see everything on my Facebook?

A: Nope, you just change the one post to public.  Everything else can be shared with just Friends.  If you need help, stop by the Chamber we’d be happy to show you how to change the settings.

Q: Something Else?

A: Give us a call or stop by, we’d be happy to answer your questions!
