The Cable Area is an equally popular road biking destination. Low traffic roads offer route possibilities of five to 100 miles or more. Quiet, scenic country roads link the Cable Area with hundreds of additional miles in the surrounding region. Popular routes include the rolling and hilly Lake Owen Drive and Pioneer Road – both featured in the area’s largest biking road race, the Grand View Firehouse 50. Delta-Drummond Road is a local favorite, particularly when the fall colors are at their splendid peak.
Tour the lakes, weave through the woods, pedal along side the wild and scenic Namakagon River or just explore the back roads. And if you are looking for someone to ride with, just check in with the local bike shops they will hook you up with one of five or more weekly group rides.
