- Mountain and Fat Bike Trails
- ALL CAMBA TRAILS ARE CLOSED
- Area land managers have now implemented their spring trail closure orders. This closure includes all off road trails in the county and national forests.
- ATV/UTV Trail Conditions
- Effective Monday, March 11, Bayfield County ATV/UTV trails are closed for the season. ATV/UTV trails will re-open when conditions allow as determined by each respective landowner or trail manager, usually sometime in early May. The Tri-County Corridor and ATV/UTV road routes remain open as usual. A federal closure order will be going into effect soon for trails on federal land and may, in fact, be in effect sooner than the county trail closure. We apologize for any confusion this may cause. Links to updated trail conditions can be found at www.bayfieldcounty.wi.gov/atvtrails.

North End Classic Trail | CLOSED | |||
Birkie | OPEN | 3/28 | FAIR | Grooming has been completed at Hatchery, Mosquito Brook, OO, and at Birkie Trail head. The Birkie trail between Hatchery Park and Mosquito Brook has one classic track set, and is in good shape, but base is thin and will likely have a few bare spots in the next days. Deck is is in good shape, slightly uneven as we are working with no base and some warm ground. The loops at OO and both Skate and Classic trails to Boedecker are also tracked, and in good shape. Competition Loops at Birkie trailhead are also tracked and in good shape. Skiing should be quite good for the next few days, but temperatures will start to rise again going into the weekend so get out early and come ski! Please consider that were essentially operating as if it’s the start of the season so there is not a base underneath our current snowpack, so it will be a little uneven and there may be some debris or slush in a few areas. Winter finally arrived! |
