(Master Naturalist Advanced Training)

From egg to table, discover the science behind Lake Superior’s fisheries. Begin the morning at 9 a.m. in Bayfield with Dray Carl, Fisheries Biologist with the Wisconsin DNR, for an overview talk. Then board the DNR’s research boat to pull in gill nets and gather data on the whitefish population. Follow the fish to a behind-the-scenes tour of Bodin Fisheries. After lunch from Hoops Fish Dockside or a picnic lunch (cost not included), we’ll get a tour of the Les Voight Fish Hatchery. Finish by 3 p.m. You don’t have to be a certified Master Naturalist to participate! Any adult learners are welcome. Space is limited.

Register by June 20.

$35 member/$45 non-member.
