Nature’s Salad Bar with Mike Heim

(Master Naturalist Advanced Training)

Wander through a lovely hardwood forest filled with wildflowers. Identify and taste a number of these edibles (and identify the ones that aren’t) and collect some. Travel back to the Museum’s Wake Robin Pavilion to prepare wild veggie omelets for lunch. Meet at the Museum at 10 a.m. carpool to the field location, and finish by 2:30 p.m. You don’t have to be a certified Master Naturalist to participate! Any adult learners are welcome. Space is limited. Register by May 13. $35 member/$45 non-member.

For those of you coming from the north, we will meet in front of the Cable Natural History Museum. For those to the south, we will come down and meet you in the L & M Fleet Supply parking lot in Hayward.
