Cable Area Snowmobile Trail Report
January 10th, 2019
From our Namakagon Trail Groomers:
Our area has 2-4 inch base. All trails have been groomed (with exception of bigger marshes). We are rating trails  in fair to good condition.
From our Drummond Sno-Jacks:
Expect early riding conditions, trails are groomed but there are icy/slick spots; overall in fair condition.
North of Grand View there is very little snow.
There is a chance our area may see some Lake Effect snow over the weekend, temps will stay at or below freezing for the foreseeable future. No new snow is expected in the next week.
Please remember that our groomers have the right-of-way and they can be out day or night grooming our trails to be the best they can be!
We will keep you posted with all things trail related! Be sure to grab one of our new 2019 Cable Area Motor Head Maps here in the Chamber, or at one of our local businesses!

Cross Country Ski Trail Reports

Grooming Report-1/8/19

Main trail groomed and track set today. Skate deck firm with powdery surface - NOT icy. Surprisingly good. Track is variable, but generally good to very good. The snow is now quite dry and not bonding well to form a perfect track. Hopefully overnight temps will allow it to set up.

North End Classic groomed/track set today. Most of snowshoe race impacts erased. Very firm base. Track quite variable, but generally fair to good. Similar situation as the main trail.

Tony Wise - has not yet been regroomed. It has about 1/2" to 1" of new, slightly crusty snow on top.

Skiing should be good.
