Art in Motion, Table Mobiles 
Create a George Ricky inspired mobile sculpture using metal papers and wind.
Drop in at the Cable Natural History Museum Wayside Wanderings Natural Play Area to explore the trails, play in our treehouse, build a fairy house, and join local artist Donna Post to create make-and-take nature crafts. All ages welcome! Come find us at 43135 Randysek Road in Cable, on Fridays and Saturdays from June 22 through August 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Donations welcome. 50 years ago this fall, the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act protected waterways that possess outstanding scenic, recreational, geologic, fish and wildlife, historic, cultural, or other similar values. The Namekagon River—part of the St. Croix River watershed—was one of the first rivers protected under the Act. Drop in to Lakewoods Resort on Lake Namakagon from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. for party games and treats to celebrate! For more info call the Cable Natural History Museum at 715-798-3890.

Design and make your own glass mosaic table in this fun two session workshop (July 20 and 27) with Peggy at Glassy Ladies in Cable.

She will guide you through this fun and easy art and you will make a beautiful table. There will be two time slots, from noon to 3pm and 5:30 to 8pm available.
