Dinner Lecture: Namekagon River Fishery—From Cable to the Confluence (Adult Naturalist Program)

50 years ago this fall, the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act protected waterways that possess outstanding scenic, recreational, geologic, fish and wildlife, historic, cultural, or other similar values. The Namekagon River—part of the St. Croix River watershed—was one of the first rivers protected under the Act. Join Max Wolter, DNR Fisheries Biologist to learn about how the Namekagon River fishery changes from the Cable area on down to the confluence. Meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Rookery Pub. You may also join us for dinner and conversation after the presentation. Register by November 14. $5 member/$10 non-member. Go to or call 715-798-3890
