Chaga Make-n-Take Workshop

December 4, 2019
In the Northwoods a powerful medicine grows—chaga! This parasitic fungus grows on birch trees in areas around the world and has been enjoyed medicinally for thousands of years. Through a lecture and hands-on experience, learn about the history of chaga use and how you too can ethically harvest this medicine. Participants will have a chance to taste chaga tea, a chaga tincture, and will have time to start their own chaga preparations using provided materials and recipes discussed in class. Join Curator Mollie Kreb at the Cable Natural History Museum from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Register by November 30 by calling 715-798-3890 or go to cablemuseum.org. $35 member/$40 non-member.
