The Cable Area Off-Road Classic consists of 18
and 23 mile point to point mountain bike races in and around the Chequamegon National Forest and Sawyer and Bayfield County Forests including some of the famous CAMBA trails.
Both races start at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 17, 2008 at The Lakewoods, 7 miles east of Cable on County Highway M. The finish will be in downtown Cable. Bus transportation to the start area will be provided. Cash prizes and trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers in the 23 mile race. Blue Moon Pottery plaques or medals will also be presented to the top tandem and top 3 male and female finishers in five year age class categories in both races. Approved helmets required for all events.
Registration and Bib Pick-up: Friday, May 16 - 4:00-8:00 P.M. at the Cable Area Chamber of Commerce; Saturday, May
17 - 7:00 - 9:00 A.M. at The Lakewoods. All race participants receive a pair of
custom race socks.
